Abdulsalam Abduljalil, Tijjani Mohammed and William Seyi Solanke have been expelled for allegedly raping a student of the Bayero University Kano.
The Bayero University Kano (BUK) has expelled three male students of the institutions who allegedly raped another student of the institution.
The accused rapists, Abdulsalam Abduljalil, Tijjani Mohammed and William Seyi Solanke, were all students of the school’s Faculty of Social and Management Sciences
According to the institution’s Head, Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records (DEAR), Hajiya Fatima Binta Mohammed, the students were expelled for criminal conspiracy, threat to life and rape.
Quoting Mohammed, a report published in the institution’s bulletin said the management has approved the student’s expulsion.
Student Pulse gathered from a Daily Trust report that the female student was raped outside one of the female hostels.
She was reportedly reading at the time of the attack.
