Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled out the sale of Jack Wilshere this summer revealing that the club is not in a position to sell their best players.
Strong reports have emerged that Manchester City is ready to pull out all the stops to sign the midfielder as they look to increase their homegrown quota ahead of next season.
Wenger has however ruled out any sale when he was asked about the report during a press conference ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Burnely.
“You can imagine my answer, we are not in a position where we have to sell our best players,” Wenger said.
After being out of action since November 2014, Jack Wilshere is ready to return to first team action after playing in two reserve game for Arsenal.
