Buhari is fittest presidential candidate, says Kwankwaso

All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirants and Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has stated that their presidential standard bearer, Muhammadu Buhari, has the strongest constitution among those vying for office in the 2015 presidential election.

Kwankwaso, who said Buhari’s good state of health was not in doubt, noted that this became even more evident during the party’s North West rally in Kaduna last week.

He said the APC candidate travelled from Daura to Kaduna on the morning of the rally, and that Buhari joined the campaign procession in a bus that went round major parts of Kaduna without displaying any form of fatigue.

Stating that the APC standard bearer played a frontal role at the rally, Kwankwaso queried in Hausa: “how can they say a man who undertook such rigorous task is unhealthy?”

The governor, who stated this at a public function in Kano at the weekend, said: “Our opponents are saying our president, come May 2015, is not fit. After he undertook the tedious task during our rally in Kaduna, I want to state here that General Buhari is fitter than the candidate with the bowler hat.

“There is this governor from a part of this country, who has lost control of his tongue, he keeps emphasising that Buhari is not fit. This governor should have a rethink and stop the ungodly remarks.

“Of late, the number one family, their party and other stakeholders in Abuja have been thrown into panic; they have all deserted Abuja.

“You all know that an emissary was sent to Kano, he came and was doling out money to various groups, including religious leaders. They are aware Kano has over four million registered voters; these votes are a ‘sure banker’ for APC,” Kwankwaso boasted.
