An unconfirmed report had it that a Second Republic president, Alhaji Shehu Usman Shagari is dead.
According to the report, the 90-year-old who only a few weeks ago celebrated his 90th birthday, February 25th to be precise, died this afternoon (Sunday).
However, the personal assistant to the Second Republic president and head of the Shehu Shagari Foundation, Dr Atiku Nuhu Koko, who confirmed the report to Nigerian Tribune, rebuffed the news of Shagari’s death, says he is alive.
